In the end, who really knows? What artists ~ say~ vs what artists ~ do~ is another debate altogether. isn't that within the NL1's capability? If not, it wouldn't be too difficult to apply post production weirdness to get to those ends. I'm hearing audio rate modulated VCOs, hard sync stuff, some of it swept with envelope modulations. and I am totally open to the idea that heavy post production was also applied.

Perhaps many.īut I don't hear anything past what a Nord Lead can produce, to be honest. if it was infact a Nord Lead of some ilk that was used in those recordings, who's to say the raw audio wasn't sped up or otherwise tweaked?
